Dimitri Vicedomini is an Italian automotive designer based in Turin, Italy. He currently serves as Head of Exterior Design at Pininfarina, working at Pininfarina’s headquarters in Cambiano. After studied at ISSAM in Modena, Dimitri joined Giugiaro’s Form Design Center in 1997 at 21 years old and Pininfarina in 2001 where, in over a decade, he has contributed to numerous design research and development projects for major OEMs. Particularly successful was his collaboration with Brilliance Auto for which he penned almost the entire line up of models. In 2012 the Chinese Company asked him to join as Design Director working at the R&D in Shenyang (PRC) for the 3 Brands of the Group (together with Jinbei and Huasong). He rejoined Pininfarina in 2017 working in Design Management, Strategy and Product Development. In his current role, he leads the exterior design team across the entire strategic and development process. Among the projects he has led are the Vinfast VF8 (2021), Vinfast VF9 (2022), and JAS Tensei (2025).
